Victorian London

For the historically inclined:

This map superimposes Google maps and Victorian Ordnance survey maps of London circa 1893-1896. I've already found some interesting surprises including a row of houses across the road from my house that was demolished to make room for railway lines some time between then and the 1940s.

So, of course, the first place I look up was 221b Baker St. In fact, beside the Prime Minister's address, you just need to type in "221" and up pops the address. They know their clientele, they do.

It's an odd one, since there is no historical location as I understand it.
