ouch.. your post is inaccurate compared to the website -

It will also be distributed through television and other platforms worldwide. (Disclosure: CNET is owned by CBS.)" - not just on demand, just that it will be available on their on-demand.

Producer Alex Kurtzman is known for his work on the rebooted Star Trek movies. - not director. JJ Abrams is still the director of Star Trek Into Darkness... not Kurtzman. Kurtzman was one of the writers though, yes.
