A quick look at Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refrigerator
told me:
"Modern refrigerators usually use a refrigerant called HFC-134a (1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane) instead of freon, which has no ozone layer depleting properties."
