Funny that I should find Dawn’s readiness to anger, over any suggestion that Amanda’s death was caused against her will rather than being a consequence of her own choice to fight, as being the most plausible detail of the whole story.

Although, it was perfectly in character — and fun — to imagine Dawn being able to leverage a future windfall out of a friend’s seeing an Apple logo on the back of a telephone. Supernatural power is one thing, but one should never underestimate pure mercenary cunning.
