Best laid plans

So how did everyone else spend their Sunday after Dragonmeet? I spent mine cleaning coffee out of my laptop and packing CDs. The reason there was coffee in my laptop was that I managed to spill half a cup while I was writing the letter to accompany the CDs, the reason why I was drinking coffee at that point was... oh, never mind. It's fixed now, and that's the main thing.

Anyway, if you ever need a way to waste about two hours, getting coffee out of every cranny of a laptop works pretty well. But I really don't recommend it, and it clobbered any thought of doing anything else, such as getting out and doing some shopping or SMOFFing at the post-Dragonmeet pub bash.

So it goes.

Buh?
I have been lazing about in bed almost all day, read a few comics, downloaded the photos (will put them online later tonight) and am currently doing housework waiting for the dishes to soak.

Well I dispatched* one Irishman to the airport, help showed two Scotsman around Hounslow (well we walked along the High Street to a pub, but frankly, there's damn all else to see) before dispatching them to the airport also, took a disgracefully wasteful tube journey from Hounslow Central to Hounslow East tube station (the joys of a zones 1 to 4 Oyster card), spoke to my ex-girlfriend in Australia for an hour or so and then, spent, retired to spend what remained of the afternoon and evening coughing.

*Strictly speaking, I can't claim to have "dispatched" him, since he left the house completely independently without any active help from me. But since I was the one who woke him up that morning, thus enabling him to make his flight, I'm claiming "dispatched". :)
