I've been meaning to thank you — as far as I can tell, your intro has led new readers to Stupid Portal. I've received two reviews for it in the last two days, which isn't bad, considering I finished it back in June.

As for Omphalos, I've already sent a review on Part 3, but I have to say that the story is incredibly imaginative and smart. With it, you show what fan fiction can and should be: an exploration not only of characters but of concepts.

Very well done indeed.

Slight exaggeration, I pretty much know but I still have to get in a few Life of Brian jokes first - Bajorans being the suckers for religion that they are, the idea that God (or a reasonable facsimile thereof) is alive and well and visiting Deep Space Nine and that they really are the only people in the universe is sure to lead to a few interesting situations.

You know, I hadn't even considered the Bajoran propensity for religion until you mentioned it. And thanks for the heads-up on LoB. I'll have to watch it again to ensure I have the full "Omphalos Experience."
