They don't make them like that any more...

...you just can't get the wood.

Just watching an old Wonder Woman episode from the seventies, the one where Hitler gets cloned. Every "evil Nazi cliche" you can imagine, and the silliest clone story ever. Particularly loved the moment when they destroyed the Hitler clone by putting the cloning machine into reverse.

Anyway, a nice blast from the past courtesy of a couple of DVDs I bought in a sale six months ago and have only just got round to watching. And of course lots of Linda Carter running around in that costume, which is always worthwhile...

If they do the movie, really hope Chrasima gets the role.

Grins goofily and drools slightly.

We're all very lucky we didn't end up with memories of this televised Wonder Woman (http://www.tvobscurities.com/pages/wonder.php).

There's nothing wrong with memories of Linda Carter, provided you don't try to think too hard about the actual stories.

I used Wonder Woman as a recurring theme in a game of Call of Cthulhu. Turned out in the end that it was Shub Nigurrath. Um, sacrilicious!

Did they actually see her?

Wonder Woman? Nah, just comics, posters, the TV show and someone in fancy dress, and Linda Carter on a promotional tour.

I was using Strong Women (or even the Mother archetype if you're into Jungian psychology) as a cover/proxy for Shub Niggurath. Another PC with the Sight thought that Diana Princess of Wales was his spirit guide and yet another had some confusion between his dead sister and the BVM. Only one PC was immune to these visions/sightings and he was the one who saw Shub Niggurath.

At this point the visions which had been protecting the others from the horror vanished and they all beheld the Dark Mother, with ensuing badness.
