CD-Wow?

Anyone ordered anything costing more than £18 from CD-WOW recently?

I was looking for The Future Is Wild (which they don't have) and checking a few other things that interest me, and discovered that at the beginning of May they'll have Angel S5 for £39.99, about £20 less than anyone else. Trouble is that this risks duty etc; has anyone else bought stuff from them above the VAT threshold recently, and what happened?

I've brought a few things which were £29.99 and didn't get hit with any additional charges.

In my experience when ordering personal items I've never been hit with customs charges or additional tax to date. Maybe I've just been incredibly lucky?

Trouble is that I did have this problem when I bought an Australian collection a few years back, so I'm very cautious about this, especially since there's a handling charge on top of the duty.

I haven't bought anything from CD-Wow recently, but I have bought a few packages of DVDs from Amazon.com and cdjapan. I reckon I get hit about 50% of the time, there does not seem to be any particular correlation with the price i.e. it is about 50% whether the price is 30 quid or 100 quid.
