Interesting memory stick prices

8gb £3.99, 32gb £10.99, 64gb £22.99

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/zavvi-outlet/_i.html?_nkw=CnMemory&submit=

Prices include VAT & P&P. I got one of the 8gb sticks recently and it works well.

and a £14.99 USB turntable - suspect it's a bit naff!

Brilliant, thanks. That's an amazing price for an 8 gig drive.

Isn't it - I now have 1gb, 2 x 4gb, and 8gb, VERY handy for file transfers etc. and for plugging in to the TV with media files.

Yeah, I got one a few weeks ago for £6, but it's well worth having another at this price. I can probably use it as an expansion hard drive for my xbox.

Interesting price, but looks way too good to be true. Got any info on the company?

I do have a usb turntable which I purchased to save my old albums. They tend to have really light arms that really amplify any scratches and the traditional method of taping a coin to the arm doesn't seem to be as effective as in the past.

Zavvi is the company that took over the Virgin Megastores.

My DH does audio restoration of old LPs (He does this for artists who don't have their original master tapes.) The USB turntables are a joke. He uses a middle to high end turntable (we have several) with a decent phono cartridge and a USB pre-amp to get it into the computer. (I think he's actually using an Outlaw receiver right now as the pre-amp and running line-out into the computer but he's always changing things around to see what works best.)

But those do sound like good prices.

I'm sure that the turntable is rubbish - but the last USB one I saw was about fifty pounds, thought someone might be interested if they're not too bothered about quality.

The memory sticks are good though.
