Gunn for the defence

Just switched on the TV about 3/4 of the way through CSI Miami, not sure of the episode title etc., only to see someone who I am 99% sure is J. August Richards (Gunn in Angel) playing a defence lawyer called "Bob". Can anyone confirm? Must be a crossover in there somewhere.

Wandered over to www.imdb.com and this what I found.

"CSI: Miami" playing "S.A. Bob Villa" in episode: "Hell Night" (episode # 3.6) 25 October 2004

Episode 3.6 "Hell Night"

Guest appearances for CSI: Miami (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0313043/guests)

Use IMDB. Seriously. Took me all of 20 seconds to find this.

Thanks to you both - for some reason it didn't occur to me to look there.

"Hell Night"; that was presumably the subplot with kids running around with paint guns. As distinct from the main plot that "Bob" was involved in.

Well, with a title like "Hell Night" and Gunn as an attorney, one would certainly think there'd be crossover potential out the wazoo. Of course, this is complicated by the fact that I still haven't seen the final season of Angel and don't want it spoiled for me.

I knew he did an episode but hadn't realised it was on tonight. Bugger, I'd have liked to see J again.
I think it's the only telly thing he's done since ATS.

He was on screen for a total of about 30 seconds in the bit I saw, so don't think you missed too much.

But played (or under-played) his part very well. The man even *sounded* like an attorney.
