Went to get my bike started this morning, battery was almost flat. So rather than running a cable out and charging it for ten minutes, which would have been the rational thing to do, I tried to push start it. And bashed my knee so badly I can barely walk, while having zero luck getting the engine running.

So I got back inside and phoned in sick. Which would be all well and good if I didn't have a dentist's appointment at 3.45

Let's hope I can walk by then...

Leg's pretty much back to normal - Dentistry is going to be a sod, looks like a crown and root work stretching on into the new year at hideous expense.
