Travel refunds for Eastercon

Just a couple of minutes ago had an email from Trainline saying that there will be refunds on offer - they're doing the people who are due to travel in the next few days first, then contacting others once that's out of the way. There must be hundreds of thousands of advance sales so I'm not going to expect anything soon.

I received an email notifying me of the cancellation of my reservation for Eastercon and another of a refund for my deposit this morning. So I guess it's in the pipeline.

I cancelled my room as soon as I heard that the con was cancelled, got all of the email on that last night. The travel thing is more likely to be problematic since a lot of the cheaper advance tickets are supposed to be non-refundable, some people buy them in the station rather than on line, etc.

I'll have to post mine to GWR to get a refund, since they were bought at the station. They do warn that they are swamped at the moment, so I'm not expecting a reply anytime soon.

I have a similar problem since I already picked them up from the station ticket machine before the epidemic. Trainline gave me the return address, I'll be sending them today.
