Another one bites the dust...

 Another Convention I was booked for has been cancelled - Novacon (in Nottingham UK) has been postponed to next year, which is a shame because this year would have been the fiftieth. I either attended 48 or 49 of them, I'm not sure if I started with Novacon 1 or 2.

The only con I have left now this year is Dragonmeet at the start of December, and I've a feeling that may also end up postponed.

The Insurance risks for venues are sure to be part of the problem, as well as for organizers in the current era. The Virus is out of control, and the leaders in most of the major countries are failing their people. Insurance companies are risk adverse...

You're probably right, though I keep getting emails from the hotel chain that accommodates Novacon, trying to persuade me to take a holiday in one of their hotels.
