 Felt a bit headachy and my arm is still sore 24 hours later, much worse than the original jab. They gave me Astra Zeneca the first time and the Pfeitzer one this time, may be part of the reason. Hopefully the discomfort means it's working...

Pfizer tends to produce a much higher number of antibodies, so it’s good you’ve got that now. I’m severely immunosuppressed and had a phenomenally low level of antibodies after AstraZeneca 1 and 2. Just 16.4 U/mL, when the AZ average is about 1200 U/mL. I had to get a 3rd primary top up vaccine recently, and after that, Pfizer, I now have over 2500 U/mL antibodies. Cor! This is despite still being on all my severely immunosuppressive drugs. I’m delighted with my new numbers. I’ve paid for private antibody tests because I’m such phenomenally high risk. I hope your arm and head feel better soon and you have lots of nice new antibodies!

P.S. Pfizer’s average antibody reading after vaccines 1&2 is about 7500 units versus 1200 for AZ. Pfizer declines more quickly in protection, but still after a long time should leave you with lots of protection, and more than you would have had if you got AZ for #3.

I had mine about a month ago - first train trip since March last year as the nearest centre was in Woking. Not only no after effects but it was two days later I noticed I still had a wad of cotton wool taped to my arm.

I've done that a couple of times after giving blood. But this time my arm was very painful, and still hurts a little.
