Another bundle - Shadowrun Sixth World Essentials
https://bundleofholding.com/presents/SR6Essentials
This new Shadowrun Sixth World Essentials offer presents the current (sixth) edition of Shadowrun from Catalyst Game Labs. Celebrating Shadowrun's 30th anniversary, the 2019 Sixth World edition is easier to learn and play than ever, yet still offers the depth that is key to the Shadowrun experience. Design exactly the character you want. Fast gameplay and conflict resolution keep the game moving. The rules are built around gaining advantage and taking risks, building to spectacular moments. This Essentials offer has the corebook and major combat, magic, and rigger supplements -- everything you need to start exploring the Awakened World of 2080. We provide each title complete in .PDF. Like all Bundle of Holding titles, these ebooks have NO DRM (Digital Restrictions Management), and our customers are entitled to move them freely among all their devices. (By publisher request, the DriveThruRPG versions of these files are inobtrusively watermarked.)
Ten percent of each purchase (after gateway fees) goes to this Shadowrun Sixth World Essentials offer's pandemic-related charity, Direct Relief. Direct Relief sends protective gear and critical care medications to health workers, with emergency deliveries to medical facilities across the US and to regional response agencies across the world.
The total retail value of the titles in this offer is US$145. Customers who pay just US$17.95 get all four titles in our Starter Collection (retail value $66) as DRM-free ebooks, including the complete Shadowrun, Sixth World Core Rulebook City Edition - Seattle (retail price $20), plus a fiction-and-game mini-supplement, Adversary (retail $1); the Sixth World version of No Future (retail $25); and the indispensable Neo-Anarchist Streetpedia (retail $20).
(Note: We previously presented both Streetpedia and the Fifth Edition version of No Future in the July 2020 SR5 Lethal Streets offer. In the August 2021 Sixth World Stories offer, we presented a shorter version of the Sixth World Core Rulebook. Customers who purchased that offer automatically receive the updated City Edition rulebook, with an appendix describing Seattle in 2080, in their Wizard's Cabinet and their linked DriveThruRPG Library.)
Those who pay more than the threshold (average) price, which is set at $39.95 to start, also get our entire Bonus Collection with five more titles worth an additional $79, including the combat rules expansion Firing Squad (retail $23), the magic supplement Street Wyrd (retail $20), the rigger book Double Clutch (retail price $20), Krime Katalog (retail $10), and a Phone PDF with useful weapon reference cards, Gun Rack (retail $6).
In 2021 I said "I'll be honest, I've never been a big fan of this setting - while there's a "fantasy with big guns" genre that works reasonably well in fiction, adding in all of the cyberpunk tropes means that in any given situation some of the characters will have problems bringing useful skills and abilities to bear; the worst case is a scene where only one or two characters are active, the rest are standing around waiting for their hacker / shaman / whatever to get their part of the job done. Having said that, this is a very popular system which has stayed in print for 30+ years despite changing publishers twice. If you like this sort of game, this is probably the game for you."
I really don't see any reason to change this opinion.
