Mystical Throne

Mystical Throne Tabletop Gaming Guide to the Mongol EmpireThis new Mystical Throne Gaming Guides Quick Deal presents systemless historical RPG sourcebooks in the Tabletop Gaming Guide series from Mystical Throne Entertainment. Each of these short (55-100pp), lively treatises covers one historical era's context, notable locales, everyday life, historical figures (with roleplaying details like appearance and mannerisms), law enforcement and military organizations, and ways to use the material in your games. Each sourcebook concludes with short adventure ideas and a timeline. Players and gamemasters can use these books to lay the groundwork for historical or alternate-history adventures, and as guides for creating characters of the time.

The Tabletop Gaming Guides themselves include no rules material, but with each book Mystical Throne includes two to four short conversion guides for games such as Savage Worlds (either Explorer's or Adventure Edition), Legend (based on Mongoose Publishing's first edition of RuneQuest), and Mystical's own Entropic Gaming System.

We provide each title complete in .PDF. Like all Bundle of Holding titles, these ebooks have NO DRM (Digital Restrictions Management), and our customers are entitled to move them freely among all their devices.

Mystical Throne Tabletop Gaming Guide to the VikingsThe total retail value of the titles in this Mystical Throne Gaming Guides Quick Deal is US$58. Customers who pay just US$9.95 get all eleven complete Gaming Guides in our Mystical Collection (retail value $58) as DRM-free ebooks, including Celts (retail price $5), Feudal Japan (retail $5), Five Points (retail $5), Knights Templar (retail $5), Mongol Empire (retail $6), Pinkertons (retail $6), Pirates and Privateers (retail $6), Renaissance France (retail $5), Roman Legions (retail $5), Three Kingdoms China (retail $5), and Vikings (retail $5).

I'm not really doing much with historical settings so most of these aren't a lot of use to me, but if you're working with a lot of different eras in e.g. a time travel campaign they might be worth a look. What I can't do is say how accurate they are since I'm not a professional historian, and with the possible exception of the Pinkerton's book none of them cover settings I'm especially interested in. But it's a cheap deal, you'll come out ahead if you only need two of the eleven books, so if you need any of them it's probably worth going for the whole package.
