Heroes on BBC!

BBC will show Heroes next year

YAY! Downloads are OK, but I'm pretty sure that the broadcast quality will be better.

In the UK it should be pretty much the same as a downloaded avi ripped from a HD source. Worse, actually, if you download the 700MB HR files which are around 900 line resolution.

Are you having quality issues with downloads?

No, but I'm avoiding the really big files; the 350mb files are OK for most purposes.

Forgot to add that my big TV doesn't have any easy way to show downloads full screen - They're letterboxed in Windows, and there isn't an option to zoom computer inputs.

I'm vaguely thinking about bunging in a second graphics card with a TV output, and using that instead of the VGA output when I watch videos, but I suspect it will be more trouble than it's worth.
