Apparently pre-air versions of Dexter S2 episodes 1 and 2 are on line, and Wikipedia has a plot summary for the new season that looks like it's going to be fairly amusing.
They've been floating around for a while. I downloaded them over a month ago, but I've been so busy with work I haven't had time to watch them yet. An amazing amount of pre-air stuff has leaked onto the Intertubes this season, Dexter S2E1-2, pilots for Reaper, Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Bionic Woman, Sarah Connor Chronicles, and you can't help but wonder if a lot of it wasn't deliberate in order to create some buzz.
Saw them a couple of weeks ago after your first recommendation for Dexter addicted me to the show. Slightly annoyed with myself for watching them as now I have to wait into October just to find out what happens next.
I'm really annoyed that I watched some other premieres which were mostly pretty dire but didn't know they were around. Never mind, omission now rectified...
Still avoiding all spoilers like usual, but I just saw the first two S2 eps, and they're definitely the answer to "how the hell are they gonna top the end of S1?"
I'm hoping they can squeeze out a third season with no shark-jumps, but I've got no problem with two as long as they keep up this level of quality.
