Questions I'll need to answer for the Tooth and Claw game

What would the technical term be for each of the following:

A male dragon who dislikes and distrusts female dragons?
A female dragon who dislikes and distrusts male dragons?
A dragon of either sex who dislikes and distrusts all other dragons?
A dragon of either sex who dislikes dragonets (and not just in the culinary sense)?

A dragon who dislikes and distrusts Yarge (humans) even more than they deserve?
A dragon who likes and trusts Yarge more than would seem prudent?


Reason for asking is that in the character creation section I'm writing up traits for dragons under various categories, attitudes to other dragons and to Yarge will obviously be important, and I want to avoid technically inaccurate terms such as "misogynist" if I can.

Some possibilities for you to play with, but first a necessary question: Are there draconic terms specific to male or female?

The dragon who dislikes all other dragons could be a "misodrachist", "misodragist"," adragist", "antidraconian".
The dragon who dislikes dragonets could be an "antilacertine" or "missaurian", reflecting a condescending attitude toward "mere" lizards.

The dragon who dislikes Yarge more than is warranted could be a "misanthrope", no new term specifically needed.
The dragon that likes Yarge more than is warranted could just be "gullible" or "naive".

Well, bugger. That doesn't help. Is "Yarge" a human term or draconic? If you've got some archaic dragon language to pull from, that would probably be better, and massage the male and female roots appropriately to get the terms you're looking for.

As for the male/female haters, another possibility that occurred to me is "masculodious" / "feminodious", which still sounds kinda strange, but maybe you can further play with it.

I'd be inclined to go with "misogynist", unless there are already-defined terms in the source material. After all, this is a translation from the original draconic language anyway, right? So why not translate the meaning of these words too?

Warning: having just spent several hours explaining some educational articles to an ESL colleague, I'm feeling very down on jargon right now, prefering plain English words over neologisms...
