Dexter / Heroes odd coincidence - and a small Pushing Daisies challenge

Is anyone else worried by the coincidence of names - Deb's previous boyfriend was a serial killer, her current one (a) looks a little like Syler and (b) is named Gabriel, Syler's real first name.

If I was Deb I'd be worried...

Oh, and having seen this week's Pushing Daisies I really want to see someone write a drabble ending with the words "put a little soul in your birdcage"

I had forgotten Skyler's first name. They've already done one fake-out with "The Ice Princess" thing, so I have a feeling the new boyfriend may turn out to be a relatively normal guy, but on this show you can never be sure. I loved seeing Tony Amendola (Bra'tac from SG-1) and the Scorsese-"Goodfellas"-"Mean Streets" homage when Dexter first entered the bar. I look forward to "Dexter" more than anything else on tv right now. How do you like it?

Now that I think about it, Dexter's dark haired NA sponsor reminds me of Dru. Since Dexter is already dating Darla (Julie Benz), does that make him Angel? :)

I'm lousy at faces and actor names - I thought at first she was the actress who played Areryn Sun in Farscape, but I assume she isn't. Certainly Dru didn't cross my mind until you mentioned it.

Yeah Lila does look like Claudia Black, although I didn't notice that until you mentioned it. I first learned on the www.tivocommunity.com forums that she's played by Jamie Murray from the tv series "Hustle."

She reminds me of Dru because she's more than a little crazy and unpredictable and has a unique way of speaking. I like her character and think she adds alot to the show. I think she's going to learn Dexter's secret before the season is over (if she doesn't somehow die first).
