Crossword generator

I've been playing with a free Windows program called Eclipse Crossword Generator which seems to be pretty good. Here's a small one I made to try out the software, I may try something more ambitious as my Xmas "card". The clues aren't very sophisticated since this was just to try the software itself.

Small Scientific Romance Crossword

Reposted with a few more words.

And yes, I know I've spelled Burroughs wrong in one of the clues. I think the actual crossword is OK.

Not bad. I used to have Sympathy, but I lost it somewhere in changing computers and I don't think I can afford to indulge again.

Referring to other clues within a clue is a no-no, I've found, because every time you edit the word list you get a brand-new grid...and I think I still generally prefer symmetrical and tighter grids...but it could be fun to use once I've got the hang of it.

It's easy to edit the clues in the HTML once you have the grid.

Thanks for the link.

I like the web generation facility. I tried out one via their links and it's very easy to use. Seems like something worth getting for use with the kids, although the main problem I forsee for my use is that I doubt very much it will take maths symbols (other than those in the standard Windows fonts).
