Memo to self...

Next time you want to wrap 12 awkwardly-shaped Xmas presents for the following morning don't start at 10 PM...

There is a lot to be said for gift bags...

Yes, but I didn't think of them, did I? Damn it!

... I'm hoping you posted this when you were finished, and not still only half way through.

There's a lot to be said for buying square or rectangular gifts. I think guys lack the fundemental wrapping gene.

At least you've got all your christmas shopping done?

Most of it - all of the bulky stuff, toys, and other things that might require a trip to the West End. Still got to get a couple of things for various in-laws and perishable stuff like potted plants, but I'm mostly done.

Did you manage to get more of those cool little plasma sphere globe thingies?

[identity profile] ffutures.livejournal.com 2008-12-17 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope - I had exactly enough for my nieces and nephews and colleagues at work, but to do that I had to give one of them the sphere I'd opened to test them, which means that I don't have one of my own. But Maplins are currently selling big ones for a tenner, and my old somewhat smaller one still just about works.

There's something to be said about just grabbing a bunch of boxes andstuffing them with old newspapers. :)

Yes, but I didn't think of it. Unfortunately the plasma balls were packed in roughly hour-glass shaped blister packs, a sod to wrap.
