This seems very much in the style of Genndy Tartakovsky's superb animated TV series Samurai Jack. It could be taking place in a corner of Jack's universe with zero modification to the plot or graphical style.

Samurai Jack is a series of far-future science-fantasy adventures inspired by (among other things) samurai movies. Those unfamiliar with it would be well rewarded for getting hold of its DVDs (don't know whether Region 2 disks are available) or even watching clips online.

Here's the site of the video's director, Joel Trussell. No connection to Tartakovsky's team is apparent to me.
