Crying out for a crossover

Just noticed that David Tennant is in the new St. Trinian's movie as two characters, one present-day and one historical, and that the film has scenes set at the Globe Theatre. Someone has to be working on a Dr. Who crossover...

DVD release next week.

I saw this the other day, sadly it's not in the same league as the previous film, and suffers from too much Tacked On Girls Random Aloud Member.

I saw it in the cinema. Not everyone's best day. All the funky sub-text jokes from the first one had gone. But the crossover is a good idea ...

Yeah, they pretty much stripped out everything that made the previous one good, all the sub text jokes, all the slash, all the stuff that grown ups might enjoy, and just... made it a pure kids movie.

Crap.... OK, I wait for the DVD price to drop.

Yes, I would definitely recommend waiting.

I can send you a copy on disc if you'd like? I mean, it may be a film that you don't want to part with cash for at all.

That's OK - at the moment I'm working flat-out on the game, I can live without the distraction.

It really does cry out for a cross over!

The film is really not that good, although crossovers would work well with it. If that makes sense. They've switched out too many of the good characters from the last one, too few funny one-liners/plots... and it's just not something I'd watch over and over, like I would with the first one. It definitely has a sequel feel to it. (Along the lines of Bring it on 2)
