Laser and Lemonade

So... I was shining my green laser into various liquids, as one does, and thought I'd try cloudy lemonade.

The glass is quite interesting, but I don't think the photo really does justice to the radioactive green ambiance. The bottle worked quite well too, except that I was surprised to see a very visible beam inside the bottle. Then I realised that I'd just opened the bottle to pour the glass, and it was full of a mixture of water vapor and CO2, which showed the beam beautifully.

Some time soon I really do need to set up the big camera on a tripod and do this properly, rather than trying to hand-hold it without flash.

... outstanding.

Reminds me to say that the vendor I pointed you at no longer seems to be selling the green lasers, but several others have them around the same price or even cheaper. The original vendor only has violet lasers and they're very unimpressive by comparison, I bought one thinking it'd be a nice present for someone, and it's very disappointing.

Yeah its great to achieve Laser Fusion Milestone. The scientists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California reported that they had demonstrated that laser pointer (http://www.yallstore.com/laser-pointers-c-1183_1266.html) pulses shot into a cavity can produce the conditions required to trigger nuclear fusion reactions.

Those pictures are excellent to the nth degree.

Thanks, but I really want to do it again with a better camera, more control of lighting, etc. If I can find my tripod I'll give it another go.

Thanks!

Yes, I imagine The Flash would have the reflexes to autocorrect the camera. But does he owe you a big enough favor? Wouldn't a lesser class of meta-human do?

I'd settle for Power Girl.
