Can anyone explain to me why the current Clark's shoes advert, which has giant sized children running around a town, uses Birdhouse in your Soul as its music?

Why does anything happen in any advert? Half of them seem to be declaring "Only idiots will buy our product. Do you want one too?"

I'm convinced the ad writers do it deliberately, because their job is so pointlessly evil.

Because it's by a band called They Might Be Giants, and the ad agency couldn't think of anything more relevant.

It's just that there's a complete disconnect between the song and the visuals, it feels wrong.
