Which means torchwood have a deux ex machina ending all of there own "it's gone pair shaped - call the Doctor!".

Now I thought she was going to be out and return for series 4 of Doctor Who. Literally "by dr - it's been a year from me - it's gone a lot better - me and my boy friend want to come travelling with you."

Actually it says that in the torchwood thing too, though you have to look closely. No appearances in Sarah Jane though, which is a shame.

I was wondering what Sarah Jane, investigative journalist, made of Harold Saxon in his first 18 months. Obviously we couldn't give her the "try to warn his wife and get dissected" role, but she should have been asking questions somewhere....

A new companion...

I initially dismissed the idea as silly. But now I'm seriously wondering if it'll be Sally Sparrow (Carey Mulligan).

Hmmm.....

I doubt it - I got the impression she was in the process of making a life for herself.

It'll be someone young, female, working class and from London.
Cue angsty competitive thing when Martha comes back. They literally can't conceive of the Doctor simply being friends with someone. I sometimes wonder if RTD actually watched the real show at all...

How depressing.

I might have to watch StuWood now.

No, wait I wouldn't go that far.
