Spock Was Right!
May. 28th, 2005 07:19 pmI was in a charity shop this afternoon and happened to notice one of the books, marked as a classic. It turned out that the full wording was "The Cult Classic - Jacqueline Suzanne's 'Valley of the Dolls'". Evidently Spock was right (Star Trek IV) and it will be remembered centuries in the future...
The bargain I actually bought was Forensic Science for Dummies, which appears to be a reasonably comprehensive guide to the subject - normally costs £13.99 but I got it for four quid. Not at all bad, and ought to be pretty useful if I write more CSI crossovers - also possibly useful for our end-of-term forensics exravaganza, which we're running again in July. Highly recommended if you want to know about post-mortem lividity and other fun stuff.
