I saw one of these for £17 in a charity shop today, in its original packaging but probably used a bit since there was a film in it.

Anyone know if it's actually any good?

Looks a bit basic, e.g. you wind the film manually, and I think it's actually a camera rather than a true scanner. I'm probably going to resist the urge to get one, since I've long since digitised the pictures that were interesting from my 35mm days. Unless I succumb to the delights of Hello Kitty. But a fisheye adapter for one of my digital cameras would be a LOT more useful.

later The reviews say the scanner is rubbish. Avoid!

I regard ION as the official "this is what to buy if you want a new toy and can't afford anything actually worth having" brand.
