Jenna-Louise Coleman has landed the role of the Time Lord's new companion in Doctor Who. I don't really know her work - she appears to be known for Emmerdale, a soap opera I don't watch - but hopefully she'll be OK.

Diana Rigg (Emma Peel in The Avengers) and daughter Rachael Stirling (Nan Astley in Tipping the Velvet) will be appearing in an episode of Dr. Who next year.
Now if they made Diana Rigg the companion, or The Doctor...
