The main thing that made the Superman comics readable was his determination to live as a normal person, love for Lois Lane, etc.

So in the DC reboot the big romance is going to be with Wonder Woman, not Lois. WTF are they thinking?

They are listening to their marketing people, who say "Action figures and t-shirts of Wonder Woman always sell better than those of Lois Lane, and they'll sell squadillions more if she's Superman's girlfriend. We could have His and Hers mugs, His and Hers underpants, yadda yadda yadda..."

perhaps to have the same but more destructive (to the environment.)

At least there was some precedent for that in previous canon - e.g. Damien Wayne was her son, I think, unless I'm mixing him up with someone else.

Damien Wayne's mother is Talia, Ra's Al Ghul's daughter. I think you're getting him confused with Helena Wayne, who (depending on which continuity is being used) is the daughter of Earth-Two/Earth-2's Batman and Catwoman.

I've been reading a lot about how Warner is micromanaging everything connected with Superman right now. Several creatives have left the book because of editorial decisions being made outside of the DC house. Worst, the suits seem to think that the monthly schedule can be delayed while they make decisions.
