I didn't want to jinx it by saying anything in case more problems arose, but I finally got clearance to give blood again last week, and gave blood for the hundredth time today - only two years later than expected! Fortunately all went well, and apart from feeling just a little drained (sorry!) I'm fine. Should be resuming regular donations.

Yes - but they gave it to me two years ago at the start of the 200th session (which ended without me giving blood); they said that if I returned it they wouldn't give me one this time, due to some problem with their record system. It's in my desk somewhere, I think.
