Yeah, chorale and I are seeing it on May 1, and then having lunch at Saffron, our favorite Thai place, about 15 minutes away by trolley. It'll be the thirtieth anniversary of when she moved in with me, so we're having a properly geeky celebration. . . .

It's alright for some. Some of us still have to go to work of a night which precludes any imbibing even if I'm allowed to see the film.

I don't actually drink, but Weatherspoon pubs usually have good and fairly cheap food, e.g. a curry plus rice, popadoms, and samosas etc. plus a soft drink for about £6.50 (about $10) at their cheaper branches, a bit more in the tourist/expensive shopping areas.
