Another science bargain

Lidl stores will have a special offer of a triple-turret educational microscope with slides and a low-resolution USB eyepiece camera for £39.99 starting on the 29th - they'll probably sell out within a few days. It looks to be about the standard of the microscopes used in schools for 6th form work etc.

I'm very tempted to go along and buy one myself, just to play with the camera, but I shall try to resist.

Because I've been trying to get one with higher resolution on eBay for months, and hopefully sooner or later there'll be one at a price I can afford, and which will actually work with a Mac, which may not be the case with the one Lidl are selling.
