Just a reminder to Brits that Tuesday 7th is the last day to get on the electoral register if you want to vote in the EU referendum.

What always used to get me and my mother every general election was the inevitable news item about someone saying they'd been sent a polling card for their dog or their six-month old baby, and how silly the election people were for doing that.

Our house, being a Labour Party campaign centre, always had a copy of the electoral register to hand, and we knew that the only way that could have happened was if they had filled it in on the form. (I can't remember, is filling out the form wrongly an offence?)
