New Story - Omphalos

Just posted the start of a new story called Omphalos to the usual places. This is a BtVS / Star Trek: Deep Space Nine crossover, an idea that's been bugging me for a while that's going to get into some very murky philosophical waters (although this first bit is mostly scene-setting). One of the inspirations for this story was Tara Keezer's story "Stupid Portal", others were Jennifer Oksana's "Real, More or Less" and Roz Kaveney's "Forgiven." I hope that none of the above will feel too insulted...
