Got home to find that the Space Patrol DVDs had arrived. I was a little worried that they wouldn't include the interviews that are on the tapes, but in fact you get a lot more:
Looks like some fun viewing ahead.
- 39 episodes of the series
- "Sara and Hoppity" episode (a program I haven't seen in 40-odd years but I can still remember the theme song)
- Roberta Leigh interview
- National Interest Pictures brochure
- "The Adventures of Twizzle" episode (another program that I still vaguely remember)
- Arthur Provis interview
- Dick Vosborough interview
- "Mr Hero" pilot (don't remember this one)
- Joe-Michael Straczynski interview (yes, he's a fan)
- Commercial break bumpers(?)
- "Paul Starr" pilot (no idea)
- Andy Partridge interview
- "Send for Dithers" episode (no idea)
- "Wonder Boy and Tiger" episode (ditto)
- "The Solarnauts" pilot (ditto)
Looks like some fun viewing ahead.
Anyone good at electronics?
Mar. 30th, 2006 08:48 pmNot for me, I fear, but if anyone's good at electronics and wants a challenge there's a pretty good laserdisc player going cheap in the Glasgow area:
