The Horror...
Jun. 4th, 2009 09:15 pmLooks like the computer situation at work is worse than I thought. Not only can't I get on line from my work area, they've ramped up the settings on the net nanny proxy the school uses to such an extent that I can no longer access Dreamwidth, Livejournal, etc. at all.
Hopefully this will be resolved when I have my own work room again, since the software also blocks access to numerous sites I need for my job since much of chemistry is apparently a "criminal skill" - my computer was set up to bypass it but none of the others are. But improvements probably won't be happening until mid September at the earliest, so between now and late July (when I go on holiday) and at the end of August and early September I probably won't be commenting or posting during the day.
