Recommendations for an ad blocker?
Dec. 1st, 2010 05:56 pmI used to use KH Blocker but the site seems to have vanished, which may be why it seems to be a long time since the list updated.
Anyone got any recs for a good blocker that will work with all Windows browsers?
Later: it turns out that the main browser I use, Opera, now has an ad block though it isn't publicised. I found a forum discussion that explained how to set it up with a big list of predefined blocks, and did it - it works fine, but ten minutes later I can't remember where the page is! But it can be done...
There's also a tool to synchronize opera across multiple PCs - annoyingly, you have to go through Opera's site rather than doing it across a network, which has some privacy issues.
