...D'Artagnan's Daughter, which I personally rate as being almost as good as the first two Richard Lester Musketeer films, is finally available on Region 2 DVD. It has been for a while, but I only just noticed. Previously I've only seen it as a letterboxed laserdisc version, although there was apparently a region 1 DVD a few years ago as Revenge of the Musketeers.

I haven't had a chance to watch the DVD yet, apart from checking it's OK - my guess from what I've seen so far is that it's simply cleaned-up from the laserdisc version rather than remastered, so don't expect miracles. And I should point out, since Amazon don't, that it is French with optional English subtitles, not dubbed. If you speak French you can turn the subtitles off, which you couldn't with the laserdisc.

The mini-episode written by some school kids and shown in Dr. Who Confidential is now on line here:

About what you'd expect from a bunch of kids who have been given some guidelines on what they can and can't include, moderately good fun.

I hope that at some point the "the story from River's POV" video they showed in that episode (which re-arranged things to show River's timeline) will be on line, though you can see the whole of Dr. Who Confidential in the BBC iPlayer thingy this week if you're in the UK. It wasn't very good in my opinion, but at least presented events in HER right order.
