No more Usenet presence

I'll be posting this to usenet and my web sites tonight or tomorrow, but for completeness I thought I'd better copy it here:

My current ISP doesn't offer a free Usenet feed, so I've been using a paid feed. But for one reason and another I rarely look at Usenet and don't really have the time or patience to keep up with things. My subscription ends soon, with regrets I've decided to let it lapse.

fanfic rec - Dr Who / Nero Wolfe - The Orchid Thief

I recced this on calufrax a few days ago and thought I'd rec it here too - an absolutely perfect crossover between Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe stories and Doctor Who, pitch-perfect for both fandoms and for the eras in which it is set. Strongly recommended!
