Minor Monitor Hiccup
Apr. 12th, 2015 04:09 pmI picked up an Apple monitor very cheaply on eBay, mostly because it was untested and buyer collect, thinking I'd add it to the Mac Mini G4 I'm selling, but it turns out I didn't check the model details properly; I thought the input was the same as the Mac mini output, but is actually powered from the cable and needs either a Mac PPC tower with the correct output or a ridiculously expensive power supply and adapter to be useful with anything I own.
The designation is Apple Studio Display M7649ZM/A 17" LCD Monitor
Since it only cost £2.54 plus travel time I'm not too bothered, but before I sell it on does anyone have the power adapter / output converter going spare? And dirt cheap..?
later - Never mind - I'm giving it away tonight.
