Does this look like a good deal, and a reasonable printer? Seems cheap, but I have a feeling they aren't mentioning snags. Or has the technology really come along a lot recently? Looks like the filament costs £33 a roll but they don't say how much you get and how big a volume it will make.

There are two more expensive models, one of them incorporating a 3D scanner, but it's more than double the price.

Given how closely the government seems to be in bed with the chemical industry I doubt this will achieve much, but I suppose it's worth a shot.

Dear friend,

Have a look at this:
https://secure.38degrees.org.uk/emergency-bees-petition

Bees are crucial to our survival, they pollinate our foods and now they are in danger.

Environment minister Liz Truss has just approved use of bee-killing pesticides. It's no surprise - she's just been exposed holding cosy meetings with chemical industry lobbyists. If our environment minister won't protect bees, we need to turn the pressure onto David Cameron. He's her boss, and that means he has the power to overturn her decision.

Prime Minister David Cameron could stop these toxic chemicals before they are spread across our fields and wreak havoc on bees. But he'll only do it if enough of us pile on the pressure.

Please can you sign the emergency petition to Cameron now, asking him to overrule his minister and act to protect the bees?
