A Minolta Dynax with 28-80 autofocus zoom and case, working well, for £8
Today's "how are the mighty fallen" item - A broken Nikon EM (no winding lever, no idea what else might be wrong but looks reasonably good) with case - for £2
An iPod charger for a quid (real, so far as I can tell, the USB type, currently charging up my Nook to make sure it's OK)
Six macbook power leads - three with UK plugs and one each Australian, US and Europe - for a fiver
later - make that five, the Euro Australian lead failed its safety check.
And two Dr Who "monster kits" (each has small model kits of Madame Vastra, Strax, a Cyberman and a Weeping Angel) for 50p the pair - I think they were originally given away with one of the Dr. Who magazines, I think I'll be passing them on to Madame Vastra fanfic authors.

For some strange reason I find this petition worth signing - basically, asking the government to make employers give technicians proper training. Given how crap the standard of new recruits seemed to be getting in my last few years in the job, it really needs some support.
