Another game - Phones of Glory

This one is an offer of a free download of the game Phones of Glory from Bully Pulpit Games, available until November 5th - US election day (also Guy Fawkes night, when us benighted Brits celebrate an unsuccessful attempt to blow up all the politicians). The players should be a team making "cold call" phone calls for political purposes, such as lobbying politicians or getting voters to actually vote in an election. The game isn't about the content of the calls, as such - the assumption is that the players will have a real reason to make them, and will be making real calls - it's a way of scoring the people who make the calls; how well do they dial the numbers? are they on topic? do they sound sincere? and so forth. The idea seems to be to make making dozens of calls a little more enjoyable by adding a little gamification.

This is an interesting idea, though I can see a few possible problems. The main one is that some of the possible participants will be observing the others and scoring them instead of making phone calls. Another is that participants may get over-competitive, and drift off-topic to play to the perceived prejudices of the judges. Then of course there is the audience who are about to receive these calls and may not entirely welcome them...
