Privacy issue

ffutures I just had an email from someone I don't know addressed TO my Livejournal account. The problem is that unless I'm missing something there is no way to send an email to a non-Livejournal address FROM Livejournal, so the only way to reply would be to use my private email address.
This wouldn't be a huge problem, except I deliberately don't have my email address on my blogs. It really isn't that hard to find it, but I prefer to keep them separate. For this reason I won't be replying - sorry, Kevin - and can only suggest that if you really need to contact me you get a Livejournal account I can reply to. Thanks for the kind words anyway!
