Just found this in Chesterton's Tales of the Long Bow (1925)

"Theirs is Socialism, and ours is True Socialism."

So... Rebranding politics, not such a new idea. Wonder if New Labour read this?

I agree, but the politicians in the story do have an awfully familiar look to them.
