Great relief to discover that I'm not affected by the Apple battery recall; both of the batteries I own work well and I really didn't want to swap them for something that might not be as good. Fortunately 14" iBook G4 batteries aren't on the recall list.

I had pretty much the opposite reaction. "I wonder if I can get a new battery out of this...oh darn!"

Mine are working well, who knows what the replacements are like? Might be poorer performance!
