All of my greatestjournal icons seem to have vanished somewhere, and in any case I have a lot more here now. Is there any simple way to download them all from LJ and upload them to GJ?
Anyone (preferably in the UK) got a Hella plug to Cigarette Lighter socket I can borrow for a few days? I've got a Hella socket on my bike, which I've never used, want to try a cheapo GPS that has the Cigarette Ligher plug - if it doesn't work I probably won't have any use for it at all, and they cost about ten quid so I'd prefer not to buy one on spec.
Later Never mind on the Hella adapter - I can get a basic lighter socket for £1.50 and wire that in, it would also let me put it into a more useful location since the Hella one is positioned to power equipment in the pannier box and the GPS will be over the speedo etc.

Date: 2007-06-01 07:53 pm (UTC)it allows you to download, in one shot, a number of things on any one webpage, by specifying a mask. In other words, you could go to your userpics page, and start DownThemAll, and specify that it download all the images with this mask: http://userpic.livejournal.com/*
Very very handy!

A different icon might have a different number replacing 7797217 but the final number is the same.

Date: 2007-06-02 04:36 pm (UTC)OK, you can use its renamning mask - see screenshot #1 - in the box, put *num*_*name*.*ext*
Like this: http://pics.livejournal.com/txvoodoo/pic/002bpx2a
Then it will save each one with a progressively larger number. It will ask you if you want to increment, skip or overwrite - choose "rename" and "just for this session"
With me, it asked me 3 times, because I have jpg, gif and png files in my icons, so it asked once for each kind.
