Dexter S2, September 30, 2007 on Showtime. No info on time etc. yet.

Apparently it isn't based on the second Dexter novel, Dearly Devoted Dexter.

Excellent news. I'm not surprised they're not following that storyline since that's a bit too horrific even for that show but I hope they have the subplot with Cody.

I think that they mined some of the storyline from the second book in the first series - the bit with the guy left alive but limbless owes more to that than to the first one.

OTOH I wouldn't mind it if they left the Cody and engagement subplots in.
